The Leader Program helps high-potential Abu Dhabi government employees accelerate their leadership skills. It supports Abu Dhabi in creating a planned pipeline of successor leaders across all government entities.
The program builds leadership skills in three areas – leading self, leading others, and leading the future. It offers participants an opportunity to work directly with world-renowned experts in leadership development, as well as broaden their global perspective by learning alongside high-potential peers from various government entities, vertical industries, and public disciplines.

Program General Info
A six (6) months learning journey, during which participants will:
Attend three (3) modules – each module lasts five (5) days (class or virtual)
Attend four (4) coaching sessions – each coaching session lasts sixty (60) minutes (virtual)
Complete an eight (8)-week job rotation in an entity of your choice (public or private)
Identify your individual leadership style and apply an agile approach according to suitability under different circumstances.
Use emotional awareness to create a productive workplace environment and relationships.
Build a positive team culture to foster a sense of ownership and accountability among employees.
Use the 'Design Thinking' process to implement innovative solutions and resolve complex challenges
Articulate organization mission, vision, and strategy through coaching-based communication.
Make financially sound decisions and identify revenue-generating avenues.
Use diverse communication styles when dealing with subordinates and managers to effectively achieve goals.
Promote a culture of change and agility to successfully lead in a disruptive environment.

Sessions are based on experiential learning and will include customized simulations that allow participants to observe the effects and impact of their decisions.
Aimed at sustaining participants' personal growth, and investing that growth into benefiting the Emirati society.
An eight (8)- week job rotation at any entity of participants' choosing, public or private, to elevate and expand skill set.
